Ingwuz (or Ingwaz, Enguz, Iggus, Ingvarr, Ingwar) stands for the aspect of the god Freyr that includes growth, harvest, peace and prosperity. The rune is the symbol for collecting, storing and transforming power and energy in general, and especially fertility rituals. It also stands for restraint, reflection, meditation and the braking of sudden energy bursts.
